Laying in wait
Today was a waity waity game for the lovely cookware I ordered from Amazon - a cast iron pan, casserole and wok. And come they did - in huge packages. I unwrapped them a bit just to delight in their beauty. I mean look at this -
Anyway after that I entertained the thought of going to Auchan and decided against it. While I was writing something or rather applying for a Blogger position on Amazon, the computer conked because it's power supply was gone. Sigh. When will I get to buy "my precious", I do not know.
As evening swings by, it's time to come up with a dinner plan. Meanwhile here's lulu becoming quite the champ at drawing --

Booking the break
So we went to Soundar Travels in Gare du Nord today to book our tickets from Paris to Mumbai. Lulu n I will leave on Aug 24 and come back on Sep 29. S will join us on Sep 9. In this short break, we plan to visit Mumbai 3 times - once each for the wedding, collection and submission of admission forms for Garodia International and finally a possible interview and leaving back to paris. Phew it's going to be hectic. But that's how we roll.
Until tomorrow, xoxo.

Countdown to goodbye
I've lived in Paris for the past 7.5 years. Sometimes, it feels more and sometimes it feels like I still have barely scratched the surface of this glorious city. But now it's time to say goodbye. We are moving out of Paris soon. And now suddenly, there's an reinvigorated urge in me, to visit Paris again. Every nook and cranny. And say a proper goodbye. For now at least. And I'll document everything I do along with my faithful 4 year old sidekick, Lulu everyday.
Just so you know, I've bought an annual Disneyland pass now. Now, with less than 4 months to go. Of which one month will be spent in India. But hey, at the price I was getting it, I figure even 3 visits and we have more than broken even. And I'm gunning fr a visit a week.
So this blog is going to be more of a photo-log. A tribute. A shrine to Paris. And honestly I can't say I will ever share this blog address with anyone. So it might just be a private photo page.
Whoever stumbles across, stay tuned!
